Bios
Separated by geography but united through their love of wine and good times, sisters, Andrea and Robin are the heart and soul of eco.love.
Andrea McBride was born in Los Angeles and raised in New Zealand, where she got to learn first hand the art of grape farming from her uncle. From tending the vines as a child to drinking the wine as an adult, her love affair with the New Zealand grape and the land it grows on has been a long and enduring one. It was while studying at USC on an athletic scholarship, that Andrea had her wine inspired epiphany one night shortly before graduating. As she reached the end of the bottle Andrea exclaimed… “All I want to do is drink wine, have a good time and make a difference in the world!”
It was a cry that was heard all the way in Monterey California, by her sister Robin, former Angeleno, corporate dynamo, mother of three gorgeous children, and one demanding Dachshund, as she polished off her glass of wine at the end of another long day. Robin needed a change, and Andrea had just the right idea for them. It was destiny.
And so eco.love was born. A company that is as much about loving the environment and great tasting sustainable wines, as it is about following your bliss. Let us share our bliss with you…one bottle at a time.
