Rouge et Blanc is one of our favorite wine bars in San Francisco and an amazing place to relax with a glass of wine and appetizers after work in the Union Square area. Brought to you by Chef Laurent Manrique and the team at Café de la Presse (another fave) the bar has a warm interior designed by restaurateur Cameron Hirigoyen and well selected menu.
Tip: they also serve really fantastic coffee and breakfast bites in the morning.
Join us behind the scenes in conversation with the manager Olivier Daridon.

Q: What is a typical Summer evening like at Rouge et Blanc?
A: On a warm day you can find our patio seats filled with patrons sipping on cool sauvignon blanc, champagne, sangria or one of our local beers served in a chilled glass and soaking up the sun.
Q: We love the gorgeous bar and rich colors in the space…what was the inspiration behind the décor?
A: We wanted the place being sexy, vibrant, and warm so we made that a priority in our design.
Q: If you could sum up Rouge et Blanc in 3 words what would they be?
A: Choices, sophistication and pastry.
Q: What is your favorite thing on the menu?
A: The cheeses!
Q: What would you pair with a glass of eco.love?
A: I’d pair the sauvignon blanc with our crab slider and the riesling with our tarte figue and blue cheese.
