The Earth Day celebration continues! This past weekend was the first annual San Francisco Earth Day Festival at Civic Center Plaza. Andrea and I took my two little ones who absolutely loved it. There was music and dancing by Non Stop Bhangra (so fun!), hoola hooping, art installations, vendor booths, eco speakers, tasty organic food, and some wild fashions including funky plastic bag man and the more elegant Elise Cheval in her black gown made entirely of garbage bags. Tesla Motors showed up as well (oh yes my dream car is Tesla Model S). Big congrats to SF Earth Day Festival for a successful first year!

San Francisco Spring Green Festival
Posted by andrea, April 9th, 2011In honor of Earth Day (April 22nd) the eco.love team is participating in as many earth day events as we can find. Luckily we are in San Francisco which is not only a hub of innovation & sustainability but SF also knows how to incorporate good times and great wine!
We joined in the revelry at the San Francisco Green Festival this past weekend at the Concourse and Exhibition Center. A highlight of the event was the Organic Beer & Wine Garden and tastings by Green Wine Guide’s very own Jerry James Stone. Other highlights? Vegan corndogs, live music, delicious and healthy snacks, and interesting vendor booths…check out our event pictures here to join in the fun!
